Evidence-Based Care

Meet Your Doula

Hi, I'm Katie

I created Willow & Womb because I believe no one should walk through pregnancy, birth, or postpartum feeling unheard, unprepared, or alone. This season of life is powerful and vulnerable all at once, and it deserves support that is steady, informed, and deeply compassionate.

My approach to care is rooted in evidence-based education, advocacy, and respect for informed choice. Whether that looks like hands-on birth support, education, or quiet reassurance during postpartum, my goal is to provide calm, consistent care every step of the way.

Willow & Womb reflects my belief that strong, supported parents create strong beginnings.

Frequently Asked Questions

A doula is a trained support person who provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My role is to support you, advocate alongside you, and help you feel informed and confident in your choices.

No. Doulas do not provide medical care or replace your healthcare provider. I work alongside your medical team to support you and help you navigate your care with confidence.

I support hospital, birth center, and home births. Location is discussed during the consultation to ensure the best fit for your care.

Many families hire a doula in the second trimester, but support can be beneficial at any point in pregnancy. The earlier we connect, the more time we have to prepare together.

On-call availability means I am available to you around the clock during a designated window surrounding your due date, typically beginning at 37 weeks, so I can support you when labor begins.

Yes. I support a wide range of birth experiences, including inductions and planned cesareans. Support is always centered on informed choice and respectful care.

Postpartum support may include emotional support, newborn care education, recovery guidance, light household help related to baby care, and referrals to trusted resources.
